Girish, what a great capture and very scary!!! I'm not much of a snake person but I noticed in your portfolio you have quite a few snake pics. Thank you for all the biography on this snake and thank you for your comments.

Hi Girish, I like the action in this shot. Beautiful snake, with great details. You can even see the pit right next to its nostrils. The triangular head shape and small scales on her head are very important characteristics to tell the difference between poisonous and non-poisonous snakes. Pit vipers are among my favorite reptiles. They are also among the most advance on their order. Please come to visit my snake collection on my web site at: http://www.usefilm.com/photographer/84836.html Take care and keep up the good job. Yamil

Beautiful! That green color is amazing. The ways he's curling up it almost looks like he's about the strike soon. Good thing you far enough away! Great capture.
Thanks for your comment on my ladybug image!

Thanks Karadag for your comment. I saw your portfolio, it seems to me you are a great photographer to achive "BIP" in very few shots. Every shot has some diff. taste.

Thanks Prachi for your suggestion, I've to found some contact in "Animal planet" to adress them with my pics. Surely I'll upload more in this series, no matter people's choice may differ.
