Andy, I know it is difficult to get exactly what you want, A 1/250 is the best shutter speed for prop driven aircraft,having said that you did exceedingly well, very sharp and perfect focus. lets see some more of your aircraft shots please.

Wonderful shot, the detail in the plane is simply stunning and the choice of shutter speed has blurred the prop while keeping th eaircraft sharp. Excellent work.
