About When it comes to flowers and photography I really don't have a clue where to start but I'd like to have a go now it's Spring. Any and all comments welcome. I'd really appreciate feedback. Thanks.

This is beautiful. Personally I like this full view but I see where a good cropping would help improve the focus. Experiment with cropping and see what you come up with, you'll be suprised.
Best wishes,
Ellen

I like how you composed this one... usually things in the exact centre don't work as well as off-centre, but having the sharp light pink flower in the middle here is an anchor and it lets my eye roam the picture but I always get drawn back to the centre. The colours work really well with each other.
One thing to try is to pick a clump of flower that are all about the same height and play with your depth of field until all the flowers are in focus, but the background is still a nice blur of green. This will give you some really nice separation and make the flowers stand out.
