Great image and surrounding ,like the expression caught, her deep thinking is much far from where she is.. A well done street natural capture. Best wishes ,Saeed

Hi Mark, This shot is impressive. The expression and the story is very interesting! I really like this shots--street shots. And yes I agree with you that most of time, you really need to be fast in capturing street scenes coz most of the time your subjects might not be interested to see you pointing at them. And just before you compose your image, your subjects are gone! I have experienced this many times but then sometimes patience works so well to capture great images. But sometimes I'm telling myself I'm not leaving this place without the image that I want... Anyway, impressive portrait, Mark. Really really nice!

Hi Arwa, Thanks for commenting. To answer your question a lot of times when I do Street photography I have so little time I just shot first and think later (I always try to get people looking out their apartment windows or balconies and as soon as they see you with a camera / zoom they go inside) I had to get this VERY fast AND there were so many people around that I had to shoot Vertical to keep other people out of the shot. I think one of my other shots of this women was ruined because someone was walking into it (I should review the other slides but that means finding them in my less than perfect organized system....). Glad you like it. Take care, Mark

Hello mark?the thumbnail doesn?t give this image justice! I like the colors of this image, they seem to all have a blue hue about them which works with the pilgrims peaceful expression The wall works as a great background but why did you compose this image vertically instead of horizontally
