I like the information you provide re the plants and your camera settings. I may even learn how to take a decent flower picture.
This is beautiful--soft, great contrast. The simple composition presents this lovey flower well.

Yep, My wife does the plant'n and I does the shoot'n. We currently have about 15 to 18 rose bushes. Here's where we keep them. This was shot June last year. It ain't as clean this year. I had to remove some of the front because the city fixed the curbing..
