But Thomas, all I did in PS was to add framing and my signature. On closer look at the photo - the petal edges do appear as if there had been some PS work done, but there wasn't. The oleander flower is small (about the size of a quarter or smaller) and the petal edges are very thin and almost ragged. I can only presume that the structure of the flower coupled with the light created a faint glow to the edges of the petals. Is that possible? I had my little camera set with the flower ikon and I believe that is its macro mode.

Thanks Margaret - sometimes the photo suggests its own title, and sometime it doesn't, right? This one did.

Gilberto - Ours of the peach dwarf oleanders - but they come in red and white too. Dwarfs can grown to about a 6 foot tall bush. The other oleanders come in the same colors, but can be pruned and grown as a tree. The regular size oleanders grow into a thick hedge-like bush and can grow to 60 feet or more. It is common to see these in Arizona grown for use as privacy or wind barriers surrounding property, and along a highway median. The leaf is poison, but the blossom is not. There, you now know everything I know about the plant - except it is hardy and you can do heavy pruning (almost to the ground) and the thing grows back. Not a heavy water user either. Have a good one my friend.
