Thanks, Mark. The more I do any color work, unless I'm shooting portraits for someone, the more I do it with digital. My camera is a Fuji FinePix S-7000 - 6 mp, and it allows me to use external flashes. Black & W, however, is mostly film, for a lot of reasons, that you are already familiar with, judging from your work. Thanks for your great comments on this photo!
Snow again? When will it stop? I'm glad though, that you've been artistically productive. I almost always shake my head in disbelief; I can't find any grain from most of these digital cameras. This is textbook as far as lighting is concerned; and apart from craft, a real work of art.
