Funny you mention Fiona Apple cause I just read in one of my music mags (i get Rolling Stone, and the British ones -Q, Mojo, and Uncut) that Fiona's 3rd album/CD was rejected by her label as too experimental so they're not putting it out. IOW, they don't want their artists to grow - just keep repeating their first album. That's why late 60's / early 70's is the golden era - cause the big corporations weren't dictating what their artists should do - almost pure freedom during that period (early 90's were interesting to for a different reason - grunge, nine inch nails,U2 reinventing itself with Zoo TV, stuff like that. BTW, what camera you gonna get? let me know......

No, but I really want the Garbage CD. I've heard some of the new songs. Man...I really want money to spare, but I have to save up for my camera! Whoa...man...imagine the eyes thing with two dogs! We're getting Rudy tomorrow!!! I don't think Karl could possibly make me forget. ^_^ But just in case I won't look him directly in the eyes. This was actually a really bad pic until I cropped it. Funny how a little editing will really make something nice.

So, I guess you don't know about the "hypnotize eyes" dogs have. Spotted it right away - Karl's going, "Ashley, I command you. Do not bring that little rat Rudy home. Again, I command you. Look into my eyes - you're getting very sleepy. No Rudy. Just relax and forget about Rudy.......You're getting SO sleepy.......... just relax (whispers - Noooo Ruddyyyy - that's right) Your eye lids are getting heavy......" Dogs do it all the time. My 2 have gotten Pizza Hut pizza's and Ben and Jerry's ice cream off me pullin' that stuff. When I come to there's like a 20 missing from my wallet - Strange but true. One of your better shots. Did you get the new Garbage CD? BTW, new Nine Inch Nails ("With Teeth") out on May 3rd. Check it.

well, in this type of image something will usually look "weird"-- and I like the light that is dancing around in the dog's eyes. I like that you filled the frame with the dog's face, and that you were at eye level with it.
Here's my "weird" image that came when I had my camera in totally the wrong setting for the shot... and I love the result...
