Such a powerful shot - good use of depth of field but I think I would have been inclined to use a smaller aperture and have the foreground statue in focus too - but that's just my view - it's certainly caught my eye as it is Regards, Gary

Thanks for your comment Paul and congatulations on the camera. Seems to be "The One" at the moment (I'm quite tempted to make the jump myself but it's just that my EOS 3 bodies are still in such good shape - we'll see) There's an interesting article in American Photo comparing the D20 to the more expensive Canon - can't recall the name, and it sounds like the D20 is the better way to go. Anyway, Great shot here. Perfect composition and love the way you used your DOF. Has a strong mood to it. Title fits very well also. Great job, Mark
