Irresistable!! What is intriguing about this one, aside from the perfect focus and DOF and color (!) ... is the "black hole" It feels almost as though, if you enter there it might take you to outer space??

I prefer this one to the "First Love", because the colors are warmer, and the composition is more interesting through the duality of the petals and the stamens. Both are great macro shots in any case.

I think i agree with you and had a similar feeling ,but normally i do not crop my images & in this case the crop would result in loss of the precios curves & flow of the petals,what do you think,love,subhash.

wow. wow. really-- wow!!!! This is so amazing, Subhash. Remarkable clarity and colors. The angle this is photographed from is perfect for it, you were able to get the most of the dof for it... the purples are ALL in perfect focus-- if I'd taken it, I think the center purple would have been in focus and the petals not. Did I say "WOW!"?
