Thank you for your kind comments on my pictures, Den. I do appreciate them. I'm afraid I have been negligent in not including the photo information with my postings. I will try to do better in the future. This photo was taken at ISO 200, jpeg fine, 0.EV, 1/200th @ F7 with zoom at 70mm. Thanks for your interest. Larry

Fantastically sharp image Larry. They mare cheeky aren't they! We don't seem to get them over here but Margaret & I have seen them in Alberta where they were in abundance. So vain they'd sit for ages and let you take their pics but never did ask for a print. Den PS I assume you know you can obtain info such as focal length, exposure etc even after the file is loaded to your PC.

No kidding! Well I am very impressed-at both the stealth required and the fact that the little guy just seemed to not care you were there. :)

This cheeky lil guy was only about 6 feet away, Erin. I was probably zoomed to 70mm.

Oh how absolutely cute! We have squirrels where I live and as a result I've never been able to see any scurry-ing around--I love the shot you managed to snag here! Question for you though--did you do any cropping, or were you just REALLY close to this little guy? To get a photo that close up with the kit lense on the D70 would be incredibly difficult (but I've certainly tried with mine!). Kudos to a great capture and a wonderful moment. :)

Great opportunity Larry and this came out a treat. It is amazing when you go out to take certain photographs and another possibility presents itself unexpectedly.
You captured this well - I was taking a time lapse photo of the waterfall in my pond when a huge dragonfly hovered about 2feet in front of me. Of course as soon as I picked up my camera to change the settings it had vanished lol
Best wishes, Steve

He blends in well but this is a great capture. The eyes or eye with any subject is a excellent photograph. This is a nice one.

Great picture Larry, you can see how he blends in with the surroundings. Nice and sharp. Come out this summer and I will show you how I take their portrait with a 22 and scope.. Don.
