the quality of the snow textures made me think that this was a wall at first glance!!!! but if that was a wall, then how these tracks were made??? are these buildings growing like flowers from it??? what kind of magic land have i just visited???? congratulations dear Verena.... this is superb!!!! hugs... emy :)

@Mark: the tonal range is coming and going in my shots...very depending on the moment and perhaps the mood...but I really appreciate your analogy with music...
the eyhibition is still ongoing until Monday...unfortunately far away from me...but there was no change to go there...travelling too much in the moment :(

and *g* is a smile in german chat...*ggg* is a even bigger smile

Dear Verena;
Your b&w work is strong, with emphasis on rhythm and repeating patterns and forms. If I may, I would like to suggest the introduction of finer tonal gradations, like notes in a song. This photograph has it. And also, good luck in your upcoming gallery show (if you haven't already). Regards,

wirklich klasse sicht von oben und ganz starke komposition. ich mag es, wie du da rechts luft lässt mit dem format... die spuren im sand und die unwirkliche perspektive reißen das bild echt aus dem normalo-bereich raus. farbtönung ist well done.

I like how this photo bounces me between appreciation for how clever it is and how good it looks. The tracks stand out even without you drawing our attention to them - they are the only non-ordered element in the image. The way you have captured the snow texture is pretty great too :-)
