A lovely flower photo, Markus. Your focus was really good and you captured the texture of the flower perfectly. Well done.

Thanks for your helpful comments, Rafi. Regarding your advice to get a ring flash I only can say that Rome wasn't built on one day. I also fear that I lose part of my spontanity, if i use too much equipment. From a technical point of view your definitely right, that the photograph could be improved.
Regards, Markus

Thank you also, Markus, for your very kind words about my "Faces" and my "Fate of our car 2." As I explained to you in my previous answer to your comment, it was the wall that attacked our car and not the other way round. Best regards, Rafi

Dear Marcus, You really ought to get yourself a ring flash. Light shining through a flower makes it that much more attractive. I'm also a bit surprised that despite the small apperture, the flower is not all in focus. Thank you for your very generous comment on my "Fate of our car." As I wrote when I first posted the photos of the totalled car (not in P.S.) the car was crashed by a piece of concrete that dislocated from the wall because of a fire next door. All this happened at night, so that bobody was hurt. The car was a total loss and the insurance company paid more than we could have received for the car had we wanted to sell it. Best regards, Rafi

Thanks for your comment, Robert. I gave it the title because they guard our entry door. You gave other interesting interpretations.
Cheers, Markus

I'm not sure why this is titled so, unless it's because it looks a lot like certain doorknobs. Or is it because it looks a little like a growling animal coming at you? Anyway, I think it's a grand way to view the flower, tilted so that it seems to spin.
