About This was taken a few minutes after the other images in this series. Just as I pressed the shutter on this image down she came. I bolted for the car but got wet on the way. The car was only 3 metres away!!! The camera and tripod survivied....thank goodness.

I left the white areas either side of this image as is as I felt that emphasized the power of the storm.

I had to compress this image quite dramatically for uploading and I have just noticed some areas have been affected. Sorry about that.

There wasn't much editing to the colour. I like to try and keep it as realistic as possible.

Fill flash....yes. Artificial.....no.

The sun was right behind me. Those sunsets I have been posting was behind me in this shot so it lit up this plant like a christmas tree.

Brialliant shot again DIDI.Just one suggestion : Dont get wet in the rain a catch cold. You know in India during the monsoon season, people dance in the rain....im no exception...and everytime I enjoy the rain (I cant dance) I catch cold and start sneezing ...but hey its worth the fun lol.

The right choice of angle and the hyperfocal perspective cetainly adds to the drama of this already dramtic shot. Curious if the lighting was in your favor or if you used fill flash?

very beautiful and great colors. Very good choice of angle. The extremely dark sky makes it almost look like a studio shot.
