This picture certainly portrays a stormy mood. The composition is geat. The bit of light amongst the dark goes with your poem indicating that therlight will shine through every darkness.

Thanks Larry for noticing that too. The ray really intrigued me. There was no where for it to be coming from. I had the sunset behind me and these rain clouds in front of me. Very strange.

Hey Judi ...
Well done on another fabulous sky-shot. The cloud pattern (the lower edge of the upper cloud) almost echos the the treeline .. with colors in the fg also being mirrored in the sky. All of this brings the whole composition together very cohesively.
...as for the verse - clearly we will have learnt once more that we need to just sit out the bad times - and let hope bring us through once again into the sunshine :)
