About 6-00am and two hours from home.

Panorama made of four images over a 180 degree range

I really liked the jagged edges of all the clouds.

I purposely left my car in the image, I am however a little disappointed I cut its nose off.

Hubby's shirt is actually that colour. It is one of my designs that was used for a mining company.

ISO 64
Shutter 1/15
Aperture F8

Just for the record there was 'no cloning' done on the sky. Those jagged edges, or however you would describe them, is the actual sky and how it was presented. I did not want to remove them for the sake of trying to explain that they are not clone marks.

Thankyou very much Randy. We had been driving for two hours and was waiting for the sun to start coming up before stopping. It was getting very light and we decided to pull over onto a side road and that very minute the sun started to appear and behind me was this scene. We were meant to be there.

..ahh welll could only find a full side-on view of a diamante - should have been a slight nose o perspective:)

Ahh... colours make sense now - lower saturation (till the car is white) makes everything look 'normal' - too 'normal' your interpretation is much better

great work.... again!

Art A   {K:1187} 4/3/2005

  0

Judi Liosatos Judi Liosatos   {K:34047} 4/3/2005
Hey well done...although the nose is a little longer...LOL!!

The clouds were moving down in this image. The sun was actually rising behind me. So you are right in your perception. I only increased the saturation slightly on this image to bring the blues up more. You can check the level by looking at the white of the car.

Hey Judi -

Absolutely stunning shot - are the colours for real?

For the record - i knew it was a mitzi - although we call them a Diamante - not a magna :)

Anyway - the car - can be put back if you want it - a real pic of your car in the right lighting from the right angle would help - but - that doesn't dtop me having a play.....

Awseome shot though judi - the 'not clone marks' are fascinating - in my mind the only way they could appear is if the cloud were moving downward? I assume that is possible - in any case - makes you think :)

Nice panoramic shot judi, the colours are brilliant, wondering what the 'tiling' is in the top right hand, left overs of cloning tool perhaps, makes it kind of symetrical with the clouds to the left tho.
Nice stitching.

Judi Liosatos Judi Liosatos   {K:34047} 4/3/2005
Hi Nikolai. Thankyou so much for your comment. You are right in the over exposed areas due to the polarizer.....but you are wrong about the cloning. I did not clone any part of the sky. I mentioned in the about that I liked the jagged edges of the clouds and that is one of the areas I was speaking of. That is how they actually were. Maybe I should have described it a little better in the about. That is the reason I took a panorama series of this sky because of those unusual edges. If you have a look they occur right across the sky.

Beautifully made panorama! If you let me note some minor bugs, upper left corner is overexposed (probably due to polarizing filter) and some trails of clone stamp are notable on the upper right. Now, feel free to give me some critic, too on just posted two panos of mine :)
