I thin you need to bump up the brightness on your monitor.... I saw what you mean while I was at my dad's house, then I turned up the brightness on his monitor. It is a dark image, but I didn;t reall thing anything was lost.

ah the bathroom,one of my favorite subjects.this is a quite interesting one two.lots of intresting textures and light.congradulations for being able to see the opretunity for an intresting shot.i do think there are quite a few things that could be done to improve on this.first and of most importance to me,the composition is very cramped and the angle is too crooked.second and almost as important the contrast i belive really takes away from the image quality in this case.you loose a lot of thoes great textures to it.and mostly all detail in the shadows are lost.none the less the concept still has potential and is worth revisiting and trying again.
