Hi, Steven. I've been meaning to and still will one of these nights take a pic of the reflections of the New Bridge. I caught a calm night one evening when I had a little time - looking down Riverside Drive, but like Andrea, didn't have a tripod w/ me so couldn't take a timed exposure. Didn't realize how pretty it would be with the longer time - I just wanted to get the reflections as they look with the naked eye. But that is awesome! The other one I want to try for is a cloudy night when you can see the 'upside-down pyramid- from the lights on the pyramid. That will be fun to actually capture - may require combining 2 exposures... and definitely the tripod!

Great shot, Steven. The gold in the water is magnificant! I seem to remember bridge being called the the Dolly Parton bridge. Ever heard that? Of course, you would have to see the other half to appreciate that.

thanks A tripod is a must on these long exposures. Many of minedid not come out. I took a lot lol. I also need to post some San Diego shots i took at night last summer. Your latest by the way is very good. I hope you get a new camera I think you will really take off. I used to have a cheaper camera a few yrs ago and as I upgraded things really got better for me. But there is a lot to learn about the D 70 but myself and others here I am sure will help

Hey Steven! I recognized this before seeing your name! I love the light, the reflection, the sky and the clarity. I just took a similar photo this past weekend but didn't have the tripod with me and the lights on the bridge were too blurry - I'd be way too embarrassed to post it :) Your lights are crystal clear. There were a lot of people at the riverfront park too and my kids were with me so I didn't hang around to do much. I'm going to look at the Nikon D70 tomorrow night at Wolf (tho I'll probably buy it online). I think I'll hold off on new photos until I get the new camera. Great picture in many ways!
