mmmh, cannot think of an own story, but don't know why...it remember me on a book from Dorothy L.Sayers, called 'The nine tailors'
it is about huge church bells ringing on the new year's eve...a very great crime story
the moody atmosphere is strongly captured

I think you could have a whole range of different crops that would mean different stories to the image.
