Apreciate what you?ve done here Jeff ?one rarely sees this burned yellow tone ? and to use it in a landscape shot is a creative choice that works well. The tree is itself quite beautiful, removed from the background standing alone and stoical. Unusual picture, good work.

Jeff: I've always been a sucker for a good tree shot and this certainly qualifies as such. I too prefer the sepia to B&W.

The presentation of the photo is certainly enhanced by the toning. I like the snow you've caught on the tree and the way it highlights the branches. It has clung to some remarkably thin branches, or is that some unsharp mask? Whatever it is the image certainly has the presence you mentioned. David
