Hi Evelyn. First of all I thank you the nice work you have done with this photo. I had never imagine to do that and the goods results. Congratulations for your work and I am very proud you have used this photo. I took this photo in Morocco - Rabat (my favourit country to photograph) during summer holidays 2004. I met a guide and I told him that I did not like to visit the tourist places. Then he took me to a pottery factory where the thinks were made in a very artisanal way. As far as I visited the factory I was talking with the workers and I asked them permission to take some photos (not for sale but for my private colection). I asked the same question to this worker that allowed to be photographed but not his face. That's why the photo is croped. Anyway I was more interested to highlight the work and not the man. I also like the way you write the coments. They show that you live a lot this issue of photography

I love this image! Your concept and composition is very nice with the big pots in the foreground and the angles of the table edges leading the eye to the man working in the background. At first I wondered about adjusting the cropping and tipping the image ever so slightly -- but I guess when I got it into PhotoShop and sharpened it a little I thought; it really should be in the earth tones of pottery. What do you think? Either way -- I really like the subject you chose here and the nice lighting and textures! Well done!!
