wow.....i wonder why i have not seen it before excellent capture as the shadows on the ground appears to be coming towards the photographer their presence is very live here not fix or stick on the walls very alive...well seen ....

Thanks Randy, I did that crop quite a few times and then decided I liked the bit of trees in the background. It probably does add strength to the shadows to crop, so thank both you and Dirck for the insight. Alison

This is a nice capture, what better to highlight
shadows than snow. A good abstract that I would crop at top just past start of snow to emphasize that aspect. I like that you have caught glitters in the snow.

This one is excellent, Alison! I love the shadows against the pure white snow, and the detail of the rock in the foreground is a wonderful accent! I think it would look cool cropped at the top, too. This one's a 7!
