About The only over-indulgence involved here was photographic (and since it's digital, absolutely no chemicals of any kind were involved. Except for the little outline frame, there was NO PS manipulation either.)

Handheld, Canon EX flash, 400 ISO, 3.2 sec @ f13, aperture priority, partial meter mode.

Hope you like it!

It's very nice George, it does look like the result of a good party.
I have used this technique a few times with varying degrees of success, I have used it at work in mixed artificial lighting and you get some really weird colours then! The kids I was photographing looked really quite ill. ;~}

Ah-hah! It's slow-sync, second-curtain or whatever. The flash fires capturing the main image, but the shutter stays open and picks up residual images. Usually the subject's moving (like a car or runner). In this case the camera was moving (3.2 second shutter speed). Glad to have surpised you!

wonderful!
it's an art work very highly motivated.
molding of paper, the locus of light, inclination of the fallen glass. i think that it has been arranged after fully planning all.

thank you.

Bien sûr que j'aime! La composition est belle, et dynamique (personnellement j'aurais augmenté le contraste pour que ça pète, mais...) et moderne.
amicalement et sans malice, drilan

I thought for a minute you were out of focus!
Hoe did you get the motion?

Kept on thinking how did he get a Champaign glass with pink lightning bolts. The glass almost looks like from the early Frankenstein movies of the mad scientist lab. love the lightning. Champaign lightning :-)
