Hi Subhash, like Mark, this is a first for me too. It really looks magnificent. I have pinks and white ones on my garden pond but I have never seen any for sale locally.
It looks just beautiful !
Best wishes, Steve

Normally i click my florals one or 1/2 stop lower than the normal meter readings, this enhances the intensity of the colors you can try this, for this particular effect which i am still working on first select the meter reading of the brightest spot & then adjust 2 stops lower or even more if you want a portion totally dark ,the direction of sunlight is very important,i do not know if i am able to explain as i am never into tecnicalities but keep fooling with my camera & do what pleases my senses, love,Subhash.

Hi Subhash; I've never seen a purple waterlily; it's like a purple flame; and the way you framed it with the lily pad behind it is wonderful. So many nice little details, too, like the little white dots of water reflecting light from the sun. Such a pleasure to look at.
