Great effect. This is something I have used too with a view from Cadaques, a small town on the Atlantic in Cataluna that once was home to famous painters.

Isn't it fun! Just got my scanner (Epson 3170) and trying it out. Seems that even for slides the results are good. When will I have the time forall these toys.

You're right, Inji. I left the colors unchanged. The village was famous for its artists living there. From this I picked up the idea letting the photograph look like a painting.
