Your son has some of the most amazing blue eyes I've seen :)
I think the framing is very good. You are talented there is not much you have to learn. There are only technical things, like how to use the tools so your creativitiy can go freely.

After all, that is the whole reason to learn more about cameras, auto focus, exposure, lenses ... It is only learned the tools, the craft to enable ones creativitiy to show.

When I look at your photos it is obvious you have the talent and the motivation to experiment and you have an excelent camera. And last but not least you have a very cute modell around all the time :)

Very nice shot, Tiffany. Children are just the most natural subjects, as they can tune out the camera and be themselves. My nephew is a good example. The picture quality is excellent. I wonder if it has to do with our brand of camera? ;) And thank you for commenting on my temperature photograph! Cheers,

Mark

Tiffany,

When I first started using my focusing points it was very awkward but now it's second nature.

Let me know how it goes!!

Thanks for your suggestion! I did not know to focus on the closest eye although it makes sense. And, no I don't use my focusing points but I will give that a try. This was just a lucky close up shot of Gabe coloring, I didn't really take time to set up the shot, just point and shoot lol.

Tiffany,

Very striking image!

My only suggestion would be to try to focus on the closest eye to you. (You probably already know this, but just in case.)

Do you focus with your focusing points?
