All the crops that have been affected are being wiped out. They are having arguments with the government...the gov didn't pay the amount they promised to do the eradication, so some are still in the process, which means the canker is spreading. This has only effected the citrus industry. The grapes are okay.

So what was the outcome, were they all burned, or were some able to be salvaged?? Were the grapes affected by all this too?

Larry, remember a while ago I spoke of burning the citrus orchards? My town has the largest citrus orchards in the southern hemisphere. Plus we have a large grape section.

You might say these are in captavity (conservatory), they are not native to our neck of the woods so to speak. Lois says not even in the USA...so can't answer about the size. My title I was implying the tree itself by the leaf shape might get you!! :-))
So then do you have orange and lemon trees also then? We don't here naturally, but in sunny California and Florida too.

They are only small bunches. The ones in our yards are much, much bigger. Is that the normal size over there? Curious.
