Like the theme by strong contrast between old and new through low contrast image. You might have had an idea in mind before you push the shutter.

Love all of the lines, almost as if the two buildings are one. I also find the angle really helps to portrait the old vs the new. Keep up the good work.

@Curtis: thanks a lot for your comment, it is good if from time to time someone takes an overview look into the portfolio...interesting development which you found there...I didn't really saw it...thanks for noticing...

my way of taking photos never changed basically in the last years...all my photos are kind of snapshots...I snap the structures, forms and lines accidently...

Very nice composition here, formal and tight. In your most recent photos you are pulling out nice silver tones, but in comparrison to many of your other pieces I think the low contrast is flattening your images. Your compositions are great, and I think a little more pull on the contrast, just printing for the highlights a little more could really create more depth and dynamics in your pieces. Either way though, very nice works and portfolio.

Without looking at the Location-About... U No Who has walked the same path many a time... but has tended to be looking for his next appointment's address in a rush being always late... rather than clicking what is above his greying head!

Well done

@Gustav, with resolution it works without F11
but it is a good hint to add it to the about for others, thx

Hello Verena,
I am very impressed by your outstanding architectural images. They are a real joy to look at and study...One can feel how you try to get the best position and angle for your camera to make the picture a work of art. Press F11 on the keyboard and you get the whole image...but maybe you know.
Keep up the good work.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Gustav
