About Friends saying good bye to a departing buddy. I'm still trying to figure out how to get good compositions with a long lens. Just not quite as easy as it looks:)

Focal Length 400 mm.

Enjoy

Hi James,

I am writing this to draw attention to the forum thread here http://www.usefilm.com/photo_forum/22/849790/

I had uploaded three images on the same day from different usefilm members, one of that is yours.

It looks like I had completely forgotten to follow through to get your permission. I uploaded the image to show how it will look like.

Ofcourse, I should had seeked your permission first in strict sense. But thats I was I going to do, but completly forgotten about it after uploading it, in my busy days.

I did not mean to use it without your permission.

I am very sorry for the mistake.

Please do not take any offence as it was a genuine mistake.

Please refer to my last comment as a poetry - the image was used along with its poetry.

Well, to cut it short, It was a genuine mistake.

If you go through the thread - you will get the gist of the matter.

I would love to display that image again with its original contents.

Could you please give me your email address (the one you have provided in your info is incorrect). I can show the page to you how it looked and how it will look if you are ok for it to displayed.

I would appreciate if you could write to me in this address
kenkrishnan@hotmail.com

Then we can follow it through.

regards,
ken.

So you may find your destiny in earnest.
Good bye, my dear friend.

Thanks Omar. It's a different game with the long glass. You really have to work for the composition.

Very poetic image! The light is very nice too. I kind of lost interest in my telephoto lens because of the reason you mention. Now I'm pre-occupied with the opposite extreme; most of my shots are with wide angle. But this image makes me think of trying again!

You did a great job on this composition. The muted colors and low light add a lot to the subdued mood. It looks like a painting.
