About Taken in White sands national park. I was really fortunate to be there while heavy storm clouds rolled in. The contrast between the white sand and the clouds helped creat great drama which resulted in a few shots I am happy with. I dont think this would of been possible with a blue sky. Great hue combination here, the blue fits perfect with the white of the sand. The sand has a very fine and smooth appearance, and the curve across the plane creates a nice smooth movement. The title is quite fitting, nice work.

wonderful capture of this amazing place, very good colors on this one... i enjoyed this national park very much indeed on my cross country trip, nothing around for miles and very cool to hike on... check out my portfolio i have two images of this park there.. not nearly as wonderous as the one you captured though.. great image, great tones, and wonderful color

according to me it is excellent; I did not know about this interesting place; if I read well the "white sand" should be pure silica!

Patrick - very beautiful, it just sings. You're right about the storm clouds, they add so much. I can't really find anything to critique... Amy
