Tom, this is very nice here. In regards to comments I sent about your style and portfolio, this definately does not fall into what I saw as the less artistic portrait style. Here you still have used a person important to you, and in a very nice stylistic approach. The blur works very well. A plastic-face appearance and the eyes are great. A little lighter tones could bring it all out some more, some more highlights, but it also could greatly change the effect.
