Toni...thanks for the comments. You know, its kinda interesting about photography, art, and what is natural. I had a close friend who is an established artist make a comment to me once about photography which kinda stuck with me. She said "I like to see the unusual, not just an everyday depiction of what a scene or event looked like, but an unusual perspective, or something else that only the medium of photography can capture. The water here in the San Francisco bay area is always so grey, murky, and choppy, so I tried to create more of a feeling of excitement and vibrance with the colors. ...works for some and not others and I accept that.
Alisa...no kidding! I am glad you like this one. I wasn't quite sure how this one would be received, but I threw it up here anyway.
Detlef...this is indeed ocean water right in the hears of the San Francisco bay. As I mentioned above, it is usually choppy and grey. I wish it was calm and still like lake water...can you imagine the reflections we could get!!
Thanks to all of you for leaving me your thoughts.
