Studied at Avondale College, Cooranbong then went to Newcastle University for Honours. Was living in Wallsend while I was there. Newcastle is fantastic. There is so many beautiful photographic locations around there. This photo was taken at Newcastle baths.

Thanks heaps. I have been in the Hunter for 9 years till 2003. Have been studying art and have come by photography by accident. It is not my prefered medium, but not that i am teaching it is about all that i have time for. I have always sturggled with my photography trying to push myself to capture the best image that i can. I had a look at your images, they are fantastic. Yes i agree about this site. The difficulity that i have found is to get people to comment on my images.

don't get me wrong... i love the fact they stand out....but jus a tad lighter/softer.... its a beautiful capture, and i'm sure she really loves this photo... i know i would !! heheh
cheers kent.... by the way , i'm up in the Upper Hunter, practicaly nieghbours compared to everyone else on this site '!! i love this site for the harsh critiqueing..... i have found i've learnt so much on this website, to me it's more of a photography course , lol..... i'm just waiting on a new camera before i do any more posts.... my camera is really only a point and shoot, and am having heaps trouble with noise at the moment.....

Thanks heaps for you comments. I was a little worried about the eyes, but the more I looked at the image the more I was drawn into the picture. There was something about having the eyes stand out that just sucked me in.

gorgeous Kent... very soft and romantic, the only thing i would suggest is because it is a lovely soft photo, i would tone the eyes just a touch, they just seem a bit strong against the soft pose and 'feel ' of the photo... this is only my opinium.... i still think the photo is gorgeous !!
