I like the capture but... it's a bit flat and needs a even tone (sorry I also Sepia toned this sometimes when you have a flatter light pic it helps bring out the details!

Nice image--rather like a frozen giant gear. I do like the dof that suggests the large scale of the subject. Regards, --George

Thanks Tony for the comment. There are some limitations to the Sony, it's basically got an aperture range of 2.0 > 8.0 . I was handholding the shot and opted for the larger aperture/faster shutter. Cheers, -mm

I like the composition and the detail in the sharp foreground.Stopping down to f.11 or 16 would have resulted in greater dof. and sharpness in the icy area on the left.Regards,Tony.
