I like the capture but... it's a bit flat and needs a even tone (sorry I also Sepia toned this sometimes when you have a flatter light pic it helps bring out the details!

Nice image--rather like a frozen giant gear. I do like the dof that suggests the large scale of the subject.

Thanks Tony for the comment. There are some limitations to the Sony, it's basically got an aperture range of 2.0 > 8.0 . I was handholding the shot and opted for the larger aperture/faster shutter. Cheers, -mm

I like the composition and the detail in the sharp foreground.Stopping down to f.11 or 16 would have resulted in greater dof. and sharpness
in the icy area on the left.Regards,Tony.
