I truly love that poem Dots. You truly are showing how much you loved Nikki now that shes gone. I never knew her but she seems like a truly wonderful woman.

As I am a pilot and retired USAF, I have always loved that poem. I'll never forget the first time I heard it - I was about 12 or so and I was flipping around the channels (three channels) right about sign-off (yes, TV channels used to sign off) and there was the national anthem being played with the movie of a USAF F-86 doing aerobatics through beautiful cumulous clouds.
Please e-mail me and tell me about Nikki. What happened to her?

A very fitting poem, Dottie! For those of us who spend a lot of our lives in the air, and sometimes, as Nikki, ending them there. Very well done! Dave.
