What a beautiful photo. After reading your biography, your aim with this capture makes even more sense. You captured the melancholy of the scene perfectly.

Excellent image Rebecca!! The empty sofa at the angle of your image creates well the feeling of emptiness which is emphasizes by the colors and the tones you used here. I like the slight light that you add near the sofa. It shows the plant at the right of the sofa, which increases the feeling of emptiness as it seems dry. This a really nice composition you've done here. Congrats Rebecca Fabrice

Beautiful tones and beautiful lighting. And of course emptiness means there's room. Room for something new. I find this inviting. Someone's going to come sit here any minute now.

The darkness at the bottom giving way to a rising light signals there may be hope, the emptiness will be replaced with peace. The tones are somber yet lovely, soft, relaxing. Finding peace, a tough and rough road. Sometimes it is only momentary, you see it, feel it but can't quite reach it. Keep drawing on that inner strength I know you have. I am here.
