Thanks Lea for your comments. As for cropping I'm not sure you are seeing the same image as me? The sphere is not centred the way it is. To crop some from the right hand side would make the sphere MORE centred.

Mmm, very well captured .. the orange globe looks odd, as if it were a planet in the sky .. only distubing detail would be the contrail ..

Absolutely wonderful image. The orb against the sky is superb. It would have been nice to experiment with a longer lens too to bring the background lights into play (although you'd probably need step ladder to make it work!) but this one's just great.

I love the colors in this. Very vivid!
I wonder if a different crop wouldn't suit this image better. Have you experimented with cropping some off the right so the sphere isn't so centered? Or, even cropping as a vertical? I do like it...the sunset compliments the orange light beautifully!
