Pietro,
I was not offended by your comment, I just wasn't clear on what you were trying to say. I appreciate you taking the time to clarify, thank you!

Hi melanie of course you can post as many pics as you want. I like your portraits and, as I've said, you've made a lot of progress. But, in my personal opinion, this is a place where to talk about ideas and realizations, where to expose ourself to critics from people that do not know us and are called to judge what we decide to show. These shots are all interesting and well done although they're quite similar (same light same makeup). My question is: which one is you favourite? why? what of you personality have you put in that shot? what is not there? I was asking to show something different: it coulb be you hand, your smile or whatever you want, because every shot talk about you. but if you keep posting the same portrait in different version it is, to me, like posting almost the same "you". It wasn't my intention to be offensive, but if you think so or if you just want to keep talking please write me (maybe in privat). Bye bye

Oh, one more thing, what do you mean by "more of yourself"? Do you mean something that is not so closeup, or something that is more natural... more like ME?

Pietro, I realize a lot of these shots are similar. I really liked all of them, which is why I posted them. Because I am new at this and I don't neccessarily look at thing from a "technical" perspective I wanted to post them all for feedback to find out what everyone else thought about each individual photo. To see which one stood out the most.... and just to share because I was happy with the outcome.
Are we not supposed to do that? I have seen other people do the same, post different poses from a series that are slightly different but similar. Maybe I am confused as to how things work... I dunno! Are we just supposed to pick our favorite from a series and post that?
Anyhoo, thanks for commenting!

Hi Melanie i've been looking for the firs time at your portfolio, I think you've made a lot of progress from the beginning and that you've experimented a lot with portraits and self shots, with color and b/w! But now I don't understand with you keep posting variations of the "true color" series: are you looking for the best one and asking us to help you in decision? To me all these picture are one only portrait of you, a nice and interesting portrait we're looking from different angles..but still the same! Hope you won't misunderstand me: I like it but hope I will soon see another portrait of you, a picture where you'll show us something more of yourself. bye bye

Thank you, Howie! I don't want everyone to get bored with these, but I really didn't want to leave any out because I was quite happy with them!
