Hi Rafael,
As promised in reply to your comment on http://www.usefilm.com/image/316695.html, here's my take on your photo.
For starters, it is uncannily similar! Needless to say, I like your approach :)
You said that you "chose the wrong time of the day" but I'm not so sure. The clouds add a nice texture contrast to the smooth and geometric Opera House.
What I notice straight away is that you got in a lot closer and lower to the tiles on the left, and used a wider lens aperture. The combination of these two (closer, wider) means that the near tiles are not very sharp.
Also, by being so close it is not so easy to see the curving line patterns formed by the tiles.
It's still a very well created image, and may I say a nice approach to this wonderful building!
