ana it's my poor brain... sorry.
To me it looks like some one is finishing the bottom of a glass of booze.
That big eye suggests closeness, something too close for comfort.
So I add those two together and see someone finisghing their drink with a strange self despising gesture squashing the glass against their own face. All rather odd. It wouldn't be an out of place gesture in David Lynch's "eraser head.
Just me. Can't talk technique much. Just try to commentate on my experience of viewing. Inane chatter in youyr exhibition.
I think the layering I can see through quite easily works very well for me, really merges them.

Quite eventfull ana. These soft layerings seem to entertain the eyes for a while. Is someone stiffly emptying a highball in this? Doesn't look awfully comfortable in an everyday kind of way.
