Thanks so much Larry. How about we trade places for a couple of weeks. I would love to photograph snow and you can photograph the dry heat areas.

Beautiful shot, Judi. The texture in wood and rock is great. Well done! The warm tones of he picture make me envious of your local. Little bit of snow on the ground here (14 inches) Larry

Hehehe...yes it is dangerous Rafael and I should know better, but I will let you in on a little secret. I was raised mainly on a farm. So I would quite often be out doing stockwork on the horses in bikinis and steel capped gumboots. And trying to round up cattle that have evaded humans for 7 years in thick scrub and galloping up through the quarries. Or running through the paddocks to the point of even being chased by snakes in very tall grass. So climbing cliffs where I can actually see where I am putting my feet...that doesn't bother me.

Very nice composition, I love the different tones of reds and browns, mother nature showing off again :) However, walking berefoot in the Aussie bush, isn't that already a high risk venture? 10m high would be the last of the worries, no??? :) :) Rafael

Thankyou Rafi. Yes it was very beautiful but not very kind for taking portraits with these as the backdrop. The red glow from the sunset and the rocks leaves a red glow across faces..hmmm!!

I'll leave "Katie's dream" for the next comment, dear Judi, because I don't want to miss commenting on this wonderfully captured brown-reddish colored one. I undertand that there was no P.S. work involved and that these are the colors you saw. The composition is exellent and you probably already know that I'm in love with dry vegetation, whatever form it takes. Thank you for your lovely remarks concerning my ""Natur's talons", my "Reflected house in Tel Aviv" and my "Anothr man, anothr paper." Best regards, Rafi

Hehehe..Alastair, I wasn't dressed for climbing rocks. I only had my bathers and a pair of slip ons on my feet..oh and of course all my photo equipment. So it was easier for me to climb around barefooted. But I didn't like the fish biting me in the water especially as their were redclaw crawling around my feet..that is when I could touch the bottom..LOL!!

Lovely colours here again Judi (I'm going to have to find something else to say about your images the colours are always perfect!) The dead tree in the foreground provides a lovely focal point and colour contast too! Must say that given Australias wildlife you are brave to be wandering about barefoot! Well done brave Judi!
