Sure, I'd be glad to send you some artifacts from my home village...:) I hope it's not heavy, let alone hard to find..:). I think it's better if I took the photograph first, then show it to you.

Concerning the "barter", I'd be glad to have similar artifacts coming from Israel. Currently I have no idea what they are.

I'm glad that you're safe and sorry for the pepole lving low. We have the same situation here sometimes.
The barter I thoght of was that if you would like me to send you something Israeli, such as songs on CDs by our best singers, (I'll need a mailing address for that, you send me some artifact produced by the people who live around Tuk Tuk. I remember they made beautiful little statues, or even better walking sticks. When I was there I wanted to buy one of the latter and forgot. I know the prices for these thing there are very in-expensive. That is the barter I had in mind. If you want something from here that is not too heavy and can't be aquired in your area, such as a small silver relief of Jerusalem, I'll be glad to send that instead of a CD.

Dear Rafi,
Yes, there's been flood in Jakarta. Fortunately, my region is high enough, but in certain areas (mostly illegal houses by the river), water is only several centimeter away from roofs. Slow reaction and anticipation from our government. Generally speaking, I am fine, thanks...:)
Maybe on June I'll be going to Samosir Island, there will be a big ceremony of my great great great grandfather ther..:)
May I know what kind of barter do you propose?

We just learned from the media that there are floods in Jakarta. I hope you are safe.
Are you going again to Lake Toba? if you do, there is a barter I would like to suggest.
