City - South-West National Park State - WESTERN AUTHURS, TASMANIA Country - Australia
About
This variety of pandani grows only in Tasmanian Rainforests and the sub-alpine areas of Southern-Tasmania, where I found it.
It was taken during an 8 day trek in the Western Authurs Range.
Personally this is one of my favourite photos ever. I love the dark back ground and the bright contrast given by the yellow/lime leaves and their redish bordering.
Beautiful shot, Michae! Not only because of the great colours and detail, but also knowing that it is such a rare plant, and you got to capture it forever. Dave.
