Hello Gerhard, thank you for your thoughtful comment. I admire your work and appreciate your time. Yes, you are right, the range of focus was very shallow for the lens I had available. Low light makes for a slow shutter and these flowers are very delicate and the slightest breeze gets them waving like tissue paper. Add two hands full of stuff and this was about the best I could do. But, I like the story

Wow! Wonderful perspective on that close-up flower. And that pistil inside really stands out like a gatekeeper in front of a lighted way, out of a winding tunnel. Cheers
