About I couldnt get to this part of the falls so used my 80-200 lens to get this composition. Converted to black and white via channel mixer. Actual settings were F18 and 1/4 second.

Nice shot. I love the tight composition with the solid rock in the lower left and all the flowing water in the upper right.

Thanks Dan for all the support. The 20D is excellent and much better than the 10D I had which blew highlights quite badly. I'll have a look at the website and email you shortly :)

She's only serious with my black and white photos Melanie :) I always ask her to look serious in these photos because to me, black and white is all about mood and feeling.

Normally, Stevie is the life and soul of any party for an 8 year old :) I've enclosed a photo which shows her on a day out at Harlech Castle :)

Hugs

Just tried a simple composition with my girls and a similar shot as this one Melanie. I'll dress them up in ballet sometime and make them fairies and try this one again :)

Gorgeous!! It looks awesome in B&W, but I find myself wondering how it would look with a blue-ish tone. This reminds me of a picture I have seen on the internet of a faery in a waterfall....

Beautifully captured Howie and I like the conversion to B&W. Also been chasing water today, the sun was shining but it was ever so cold !!!

Best wishes,
Steve

Thanks Brenda. I decided it was time I went out taking some landscapes for a change. I was hoping my slide film I ordered was going to turn up but unfortunatley due to Christmas mail, I've had to wait. I used a spare roll of Reala which is a portrait film on wider angle views of this waterfall. Will post some when they get developed.

Thanks again for the support :)

Beautiful this waterfall. the shot is quite clear and neat, despite the fact that water falling may have been difficult to freeze...great.
