About This is an old ship that has wrecked on the Oregon Coast; sometimes it isn't exposed due to high tides.

Each year, more and more of it disappears. So I was lucky to be there at the right time and early morning tides.
In a few years, what is left, won't be there any longer; the sea will reclaim all.

Thnks for your comments. This is a seldom seen thing, and each year, less is left to photograph.

Thanks for your comments, Richard. The sky color is a bit uneven due to the polarizer filter, but thats a danger associated with doing such.

I shot this from other angles, but there isn't too much left to do much with.

BTW, I added you as a friend. You see, I recognize talent when I see it, and being a photographer, I recognize great photos.

As I have informed others, it doesn't hurt to have friends, especially those who know how to take good photos.

Hi Ya Ian; thanks for your commments. This was a moment of opportunity; later on the wreck woulda been surmerged, orb i wouldn't have been around,. I had to drive for about 4-5 hours to get here.

I'm adding you to my friends list; never hurts to have friends around the world; and you being a photographer, can appreciate all my glorious images.(VBG)

Gidday Walt. Great form and colour. Love it. I'm not sure the sun was in the ideal place to show off you vision with texture to match the glorious colourful decay. I don't know. Carpe diem I guess.

Very nice, Walt. I like the low horizon and low camera position, allowing the bare bones of the ship to break the horizon line and overlap the sky area. The color saturation and sharpness can't be faulted.
