Dear Chris, marvellous shot!!! What a catch with the couple just walking by. THE TREE is a magnificent specimen, I've just seen some such beauties in my recent trip to the NW of Honshu,Japan. Not yet turning leaves, but nevertheless gorgeous, counting their age in hundreds and still going strong!
THIS should be turned into a poster or painting!

tremendous composition here, the tree and people are just perfectly placed.

Hi Chris, My appologies for maintaining such a silence from my side. Been rather busy lately... Fantastic shot, and a very peaceful and quiet atmosphere of an autumn afternoon. Very well captured. Huge tree, but that's besides the point. Wonderful shot (more important)
