Yes Biliana, I wonderred what would happen if I mixed one of my fractals with a photo and this was the outcome. I actually quite like it. Very abstract and yet with a bit of sassiness about it.

Manevi.
In the past you have been critical to the point of being rude. I said to you to think before you write. I appreciate criticism as that is how we all learn but I needed it to be put in a fair way.
I have just read you latest comment and I am very pleased. You have done just as I asked and thought before you wrote. YOur comment is fair, well written and suggestive towards the art of photography.
I am flattered this time with your comment and want to make it known that I do not hold a grudge as you have made the effort to rectify your previous public opinion.
Thankyou Manevi and I hope to receive more helpful comments from you in the future...but, on that same token, I will also not stand from anyone rudeness in their remarks either on my work or anybody elses. That I feel is not necessary and can actually do more harm then good.

I really appreciated this multi-colored fractal structure that is professionally integrated within the body. Fine visual balance, great coloring and perfectly created surreality! The contrast between the body and the fractal implies "the nature in nature" which is most of the time problematic in philosophy (Deleuze, Gilles. Desert Islands) but it is the strength of photographic language as such (Benjamin, Walter. Illuminations.) to translate this "otherness" into visual entities. Whether deliberate or not, I would like to see this piece as a very attempt to decipher the mythical significations (Barthes, Roland. Myth Today.)that cynically sneaks into the essence of Saussurian structural linguistics setting the "sign" into a play of differences. (Derrida, Jacques- Différance) However naive, yours is a great experimentality proving the validity of the might of photographic discourse. I, like you all, stand rather optimistic towards photographic image since I believe it will somehow cover a paradigm to stand against the poisonous myth of contemporary parole (Saussure, Ferdinand de. General Course In Linguistics)of language. This work is doubtless an experimental masterpiece and this time I am sincere judi.

Thanks for commenting on my three recent photos in your particular way. As to your story about the praying mantis, as children we used to catch flies, tie long hairs around their necks and let them fly. Cruel, but we were children. I also had a pet spider whom I used to feed with flies. I hope I've outgrown these cruel games.

Ameed, as you know I like to play...and experimenting is the only way you will find out what works. In this particular case I made my own fractal, then took Shelle's image and swapped the red for blue, hit them with some arithmetic, added a few masked adjustment layers and retouched the lips before turning the entire image 90 degrees. So you were nearly right. I think I am going to have to teach you some new tricks by the sound of it. Here's hoping you are a fast learner. I really think you would enjoy experimenting with these methods.
