I've always been a fan of Phase One and I've worked with all the backs and software and I know most of the "big" photographers out there prefer it but it's all personal preference in the end. Leafs software isn't quite there but when it is they should dominate the market. I'm not as familiar with the Imacon. I really don't have a problem resolutionwise on a good capture with the H10. I like the H 25 to but sometimes the files are too big to store everything. -aaron

Thank you for the specs, Aaron!
I'm toying with the idea of going digital, but I'm not quite sure which format (square/rectangle) or which resolution I should end with...
Did you encounter any problems assignment-wise with the fact that the H10 is "only" a 11MP back? For example, having difficulties to shoot a double-page spread?
Right now, I'm split between the Imacon Ixpress 96C (or V96C) and the Leaf 17Wi.
Cheers Jaques

Thanks Jaques, I use the Contax Phase One H10. That was at 400 ISO at a 15th. It was an experiment that turned out well.

Nice italian-style job, Aaron. A very delicate (un-)sharpness and a wonderful soft light.
What digital back do you use?
Greetings Jaques

This is beautiful. The light and tone are scrumptiously soft and rich. I also love the texture and color combination on the skin and fabrics. T.
