About The day we visited Birdland was dry but very grey and overcast. There was no real light to speak of, at least not in the photographic sense, so I just had to make the most of it.

These flamingoes were shot at a focal length of 220mm on my 70-300mm lens and I took the shot, hand-held, at 1/100th second at f7.1. It's not as sharp as I would have liked but, given the circumstances, I'm reasonably happy with it.

Have a great weekend! We're off to London to song/speak at a Music Cafe and take a Sunday service.

Best regards to all,

Chris

You should have used one of them as a monopod. They really colourful creatures but not the best looking birds are they Chris.

Can't imagine playing croquet with those... By the way, at this size and resolution the sharpness looks fine. Prints are harder, of course.
